MORE'n'RUPZ Project
-description-

A mighty live audiovisual performance exploring the vast region that lies between improvisation, electronic and sound art.

The proposal consists of a musical set with up to 5 insect-like analogical photovoltaic robots that move, play, produce rhythm and project iridescent highlights, and 4 musical electro acoustic sculptures from Rupz, along with Papi Moreno's DIDJERIDOOS.
This installation will produce a fluxing flow of sound that may keep going on for hours, until the light feeds the rhythmic robots.

At given times, the artists shall play their peculiar instruments thus creating experimental music moments with a duration each of about 20 to 50 minutes.

Meanwhile a flow of intermingling images - both live and recorded - will be projected over the whole stage:
the random mix of rhythm, sound and light effects will alter the audience's perception of reality, creating a drug-free (natural high) psychadelic experience.

The attached VIDEO shows extracts from a performance that took place in Torino on October 2007. It is only a hint of how the performance could be, since this is a work based on improvised patterns.
